  2. 1) La parola modulo (dal latinomodus, "misura") ha numerosi significati. Genericamente significa qualcosa di prefissato, di standard, destinato ad essere ripetuto più volte.

  3. 2) Nel linguaggio corrente un modulo è una formulaprestabilita con la quale vengono redatti certi documenti, o un prestampato di un documento da completare in alcune parti con le scritte relative al caso singolo

  4. 3) In generale può anche significare una parte autonoma e separabile di un complesso (modulo lunare di una navicella spaziale, modulo di un corso di studi, ecc...). In senso figurato rappresenta un modello, un canone (es. modulo dell'arte classica).
