  5. Nouns and Plural Nouns • A noun is any person, place, thing, or idea. • The word “plural” means more than one. • To make a noun plural, you add “s” or “es” to the end of the word. • Examples: • Noun: Duck • Plural: Ducks • Noun: Beach • Plural: Beaches Continue

Question Words (Interrogatives) • Interrogatives are words that begin a question • Interrogatives include: who, what, where, when, why, and how • Examples of questions: • Who did their homework today? • Why is it raining? • How many pets do you have? • Where is my teacher? • When is school out? • What is your favorite color?
