  3. How far have we narrowed gaps? Review of the year • What was the journey this year – in your school? Key things we did –what worked / did not work. • What was the impact on target pupils and why? (stories and high impact insights – light bulb moments for staff, pupils, parents?) • What was the impact on T&L: what has changed in the classroom and in teaching and learning? (How far have teachers implemented change, and how far has this been cascaded? Leadership role?) • Trio working – how has working in a trio and JPD improved the programme this year? (ie trios and joint practice both in school and in trios; what was your role in enabling this?)

  4. Reviewing the year - process • The room splits into three/four groups that will move to each table, when prompted • Chairs will complete an evaluative summary of their question for the room - key insights (5mins feedback per chair)

  8. Building on the learning for the CtGprogramme next year – interview matrix • How will we generate and maintain pace and momentum within Trios? • How will we ensure impact on the pupil cohorts from all three Trio schools is significant enough to narrow gaps? • How will we ensure the programme has an impact in all classrooms within all Trio schools? • How will we ensure that there is real cross-school learning within Trios?

  9. The interview matrix for 12 or more people Summary • The room will tackle 4 questions based on the key challenges identified this morning • You will all conduct a series of 1:1 interviews to draw out the combined knowledge in the room • Then individual summaries with solutions are created for each question and shared back to the room

  10. The interview matrix • Your numbers will form 4 equal size groups • Each group has a unique question to work on • You will interview 3 people on your question and be interviewed by 3 other people on their question – 6 minutes per interview • When conducting an interview the purpose is to capture your interviewees thoughts on solutions/approaches/answers/ideas etc • To capture their answers , use the template • Your personal interview sequence is attached to the template • Then the groups will reform to synthesise the inputs - 30 minutes • Finally each group will share the conclusions from the room – 5 minutes at each question
