NCSU Masters in School Administration • •1st face to face cohort of the MSA at the GTC began in Fall, 07; 2nd cohort began Fall, 09; 3rd began Fall, 010, 4th began Fall, 2011 • •Students from north-eastern NC school systems are enrolled in program
FSU MBA • Beginning Spring, 2010, Fayetteville State University began offering their Masters in Business Administration off-site degree program at the GTC. MBA students at the GTC are videoconferenced in with MBA students around the state.

The Gateway Technology Center: Putting the pieces together for a better tomorrow “We face a crisis…” UNC President Erskine Bowles told the NCSU Faculty in Feb. 06. “If we don’t get more people better educated, we will become a second rate power in no time. I am scared for our future and how to compete. To be more successful, we have to work as a team.”
Where do we go from here? • •Increased university programs (both credit and non-credit) • •Enhanced partnerships with community and private colleges • •Increased participation of other UNC institutions • •Increased K-12 collaboration √ Putting the puzzle together for Northeastern North Carolina
Other entities at GTC • NCWC, six instructor offices, two computer labs, one traditional classroom (serving Business, Marketing, Accounting and Computer Science courses) • Upper Coastal Plains Learning Council: The UCPLC was formed to provide higher educational opportunities through a collective effort of the University of North Carolina, the North Carolina Community College System and the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities in order to increase access to higher education.
