I am so blessed to have such an amazing group of kiddos (and of course their great parents too )! I am so glad so many of you were able to come to our Mother’s Day tea and I hope you all enjoyed it and that you had a great Mother’s Day! May 12: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALYSON!!! And HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!! May 13: Volunteer Brunch-8:15am May 14: Last Spirit Night- Culvers 5-8 May 16: Field Trip May 21: Bike to School Day, Final PTA meeting at 2:00 This week we will be working on story structure, inferences and predicting, long i spelling patterns, base words/inflections –ed, -ing, --er, -est, -es, homographs, and adjectives. • This weeks Math focus: • -Recording strategies for counting and combing. • -Counting and combining things that come in groups of 1,2,4,5, and 10. • -Counting by numbers other than 1. The Science focus this week: -natural habitats -food chains
