  1. In the past couple of months, there were several news about Vainglory which were both worrying and reassuring. Regardless of this, Vainglory has persisted and maintained its quality. Vainglory is an unbroken game. It is just one of those things that will always be worth considering. Is Vainglory dying? In 2019, Vainglory’s original creators Super Evil Megacorp made a contract with leading game developer Rogue Games to become the publisher of record of Vainglory. Because of the negative effects of COVID-19 and maintenance costs, Rogue Games announced in April 2020 that it will be closing all non-Chinese servers. The good news is Super Evil Megacorp is back to officially handling the game with the commitment of maintaining it like it once was. Currently, the agreement between Super Evil Megacorp and Rogue Games has been terminated and the original creators are back to managing the game once again. This event has definitely shaken the community but the game remains steadfast. Can you explain the Vainglory ranking system for me? Similar to other MOBAs, Vainglory offers to game modes - normal and ranked. If you want a casual and comparatively stress free game then normal mode is the one for you but if you want a more competitive environment that directly reflects your performance, then play in ranked. Rank game matches are between players in the same rank. A player’s rank can increase or decrease based on wins and performance. Ranks are categorized in 10 tiers with 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Bronze, silver, and gold are the sub-categories of tier 1 to 10. These tiers and sub-tiers have corresponding numbers that Vainglorious are calculated based on a player’s relative skill. Is Vainglory a PC game? Vainglory was launched, above all, as a mobile game. It started with iOS and was later made available for Android. In 2018, Super Evil Megacorp fulfilled its promise of making the game offered in multiple platforms.
