Career Portals in STEM • Explore an industrial production • setting using hand tools & • elements of good craftsmanship; • Plan a simple project using • drafting concepts and standard • measuring practices; • Rotate through computer • stations to explore careers in • technology; • Utilize technology applications; • Learn & apply safety procedures; • $20.00 fee to cover supplies.

Student Aide • Work in one of the offices or for a • teacher as a peer assistant; • Fulfill duties assigned by • placement which usually • includes simple clerical tasks or • conducting school tours; • Must meet behavior & academic • standards to qualify; • Limited to 5 seats per period; • Requires administrative • approval; • Requires completion of all other • course units to qualify.
