Jim Knight, Minister for Schools • "Through our PE, School Sport and Club Links strategy we are creating a world class system for PE and school sport of which our nation can be proud. With more young people than ever before doing at least two hours high quality PE and school sport each week, we are helping to create a fitter, healthier and more physically active nation. But we need to strengthen and support this through the provision of 21st century facilities for PE and school sport. The Building Schools for the Future programme gives us the perfect opportunity to ensure that we have the facilities we need to make this happen."
