  1. Sewing CENTER A SPECIAL PROJECT REACHING THE WOMEN FOR THE CHRIST

  2. Purpose and theme • This Project helps the widows, married women and teenage girls with future employment. Most of the poor girls get married at the age of 13 to 15 and their husbands are fishermen, carpenters, painters or daily labours.

  3. For the family maintenance the women work as made servants in the rich people house. The fishermen never hear the forecast of the cyclone and they keep on fishing and unknowingly some times they were grabbed by the death, when a teenage women lost her husband she immediately sent back to stay with her parents. The problem begins here, she is not going to get married again and rest of her life she spent at home lonely. Most of the widows are with children, while in 3 months of their marriage every women conceived and in their teenage they turn to be mother, no family planning. The widow will start her life again after some time as made servant to support her children. So we started this sewing centre to educate the poor women with future employment and awareness. We are educating the women not to get married until they turned to at least 18 years and every women to be educated minimum 12th class and we are inviting every  women to the sewing centre to learn to earn. In this 4 months of training period we teach them many things, specially about Jesus and His love for this world.

  4. Writing the Exam Every women should have enough attendance to write the final examination, otherwise they will be asked to join the next batch.

  5. Sunday school children got new dresses by this final exam

  6. Future employment by donating a free machine to all the qualified participants

  7. Graduation program

  8. 21 women are going to be graduated by the august first week
