  2. Introduction • Triangular numbers are numbers that are used to form a triangle. Triangular numbers are 1,3,6,10 and so on.

  3. The Rule To Solving Triangular Numbers • For example if you wanted to find the 57th triangular number, you need to add all the numbers from 1 to 57. • So you add 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 and so on.

  4. Some Examples • Finding the triangular number of 17 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17=153 • Finding the triangular number of 14 • 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14=105
