PROBLEMS WITH ORGANIZATION • DECREASE IN SPONSORSHIP • TAINTED IMAGE • GOVERNING OF THE PROGRAM • RECRUITING OF PLAYERS
GOALS • Develop a comprehensive plan to address Internal Communication, Public Relations, and the overall GOALS OF RIVERSIDE. • REASTABLISH RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITY. • INCREASE MEMBERSHIP OF STUDENT ATHLETES. • 9 MONTH SUCCESS PLAN.
OBJECTIVE THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO GIVE NEW YORK CITY YOUTH A PLACE OF REFUGE AND RECREATION. PREPARE THE YOUNGER GENERATION MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY FOR A BETTER FUTURE. FINALLY ALLOW TH STUDENT ATHLETE TO EXCEL IN BASKETBALL SO THAT THEY CAN RECEIVED AN EDUCATION AT THE HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE LEVEL.
AUDIENCE • WORKING MEN AND WOMAN FROM 18-45 • MIDDLE CLASS WORKERS • FORMER PARTICIPANTS OF THE PROGRAM. • ALL ELIGIBLE DONORS FROM NEW YORK CITY.
STRATEGIES & TACTICS • THE KEY PUBLICS IN MY PR CAMPAIGN IS AIMED AT THE MIDDLE CLASS CITIZENS OF NEW YORK CITY AS WELL AS FORMERS PARTICIPANTS OF RIVERSIDE CHURCH. I WILL CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PROGRAM TO RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS THROUGH BANQUETS, PARENTS & ALUMNI NIGHTS, CANDY SELLS, AS WELL AS PLAYERS DUES FOR EACH ACTIVE PLAYER FOR RIVERSIDE. MY CAMPAIGN WILL START BY GETTING A MAILING LIST OF PEOPLE WHOM ARE ADVOCATE FANS OF HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE BASKETBALL, BY ADVERTISING AT LOCAL GAMES AND EVENTS. THE PLAN WILL TAKE PLACE OVER A NINE MONTH SPAN THAT WILL HAVE THREE MAIN GOALS REVAMP OF PUBLIC IMAGE, END THE FISCAL YEAR WITH NO DEBT, AND INCREASE MEMBERSHIP OF STUDENT ATHELETES BY 25%.

EVALUATION DURING THE INTIAL NINE MONTH PERIOD THE MAIN GOAL IS ACHEIVE COMMUNITY SUPPORT. RIVERSIDE WILL KEEP THE INITIAL FOCUS OF CONTINUING TO DEVELOP TOMORROWS LEADERS, PROMOTE SPORTMANSHIP AND A STRONG WORK ETHIC. WE WILL ALSO HAVE HIGH HOPES THAT THE COMMUNITY WILL HELP SPONSOR THE YOUTH ORGANIZATION.
