MOCK TRIAL Join us as an attorney or witness and be a part of the MOCK TRIAL in January at Duquesne Law School. Our case this year will be available in on November 2nd. We are doing the 2013 case which has not yet been released by PABAR.org We have 5 one-hour meetings after school to prepare your team for the trial.
How do you join the MOCK TRIAL TEAM? Complete an application and submit it to the GOAL Office ASAP. There will be 24 spots for lawyers and witnesses. The case and the application form will be available on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in front of the GOAL office. Read the case and all the directions. Submit your application ASAP to get one of the 24 spots! Our first meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 19th from 2:30 -3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Students wishing to participate in the Science Bowl will be required to complete a preliminary exam. Team member will be selected based upon results of this exam. The test date will be posted in the GOAL officeand on the GOAL website.
Engineering Problem Solving Workshop A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP BUILD, CREATE, PROBLEM SOLVE !!!!!!! NOVEMBER 8, 2012 Leave NAI 8:30 am Return NAI 1:45 pm • RMU Department of Engineering Professors will review the Engineering Problem Solving Process. • Teams of 6-8 students will be given 30 minutes to solve a problem. • Random teams will then be selected to defend their process and solution. • RMU professors will complete each round by discussing the actual process and solution. • We will complete three rounds. • The problems will be based on a Freshmen Engineering Skill Set but will apply the high school mathematics and science concepts • The problems will also be applied to real-life engineering concepts • Students should bring calculators and be prepared to work together in teams of 6-8 students
