GRADES 1-5 PARTICIPATED IN AN ASSEMBLY THEN VISITED THE HANDS ON EXHIBITS THROUGHOUT THE DAY EXPLORING HOW WEATHER AFFECTS LIFE ON EARTH AND LEARNED HOW TECHNOLOGY HELPS TO FORECAST THE WEATHER. HARMAN PTO NEWSLETTER January 2014 (continued) Battle of the Books Attention to parents of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders: There is still time to sign up for Battle of the Books. We would love to have more kids sign up. If your child is interested please print out the form and send it into school by Friday, January 10th. If you are not sure if your child is signed up please contact me to make sure they are signed up. Also, it is not to late to sign up to coach. Let me know if you are interested in coaching as well. The first half of the school year has run smoothly in the lunchroom because of you! With the new year, we are off to a great start with just one day open in January. If anyone is able to work January 31st, please sign up (www.signupgenius.com). There are also many openings in February and beyond if you want to plan ahead. As a reminder, if you are unable to come in on your scheduled day, please contact Liz Jacomet (not the school) by email (jacomet@att.net) or phone (396-1707 or 602-1609)so we can try to find a substitute.
