Choose carefully Just because you could be appointed does not mean you should say ‘yes’
Be Passionate Regardless of your reality and your aspirations you must be passionate about: • Your contribution • The organisation • What the organisation does
Be Careful The first sort of board appointment you accept might be the last sort of board appointment you accept. Little evidence to suggest you can work your way up to a ‘better’ board from a NfP appointment.
