  2. How to use a dictionary ☆ The words in a dictionary are in alphabetical order from A to Z. ☆ If two words start with the same letter, we look at the second letter of the word we want to look up. If the first two letters of two words are the same, we look at the third letter, and so on.

  3. Put the following words in alphabetical order, write the numbers 1-8 in the blanks. 3 6 • mobile e. remember • b. Bicycle f. surprised • c. Sunny g. forget • d. Picnic h. notice 1 8 7 2 5 4

  4. Write down the page numbers for the words on the right 96-97 88-89 34-35 84-85 46-47
