  1. Critical Junctures; Tensions; Extensions and Confluences in Visual Arts and Design Education Building VADEA hubs across NSW Proposals for a Pilot Program

  2. Developing Sustainable Structures: a critical juncture In the last three years VADEA has established and consolidated its working practices as a professional association. It is time to consider ways of developing sustainable structures to support and build regional groups in both country and outer metropolitan areas

  3. Decentralisation and distribution of leadership: Activating Regions Possible ways VADEA could assist regional hubs to build a sustainable web of practices: investigate models and modes of support for visual arts educators in a range of contexts and areas distributed and shared leadership models develop a pilot program to support the establishment of Regional VADEA hubs in 2011-2012

  4. Pilot Program 2011-2012 Invitations extended to four regional VADEA members to attend the conference with VADEA support and contribute to the establishment of regional hubs. While diversity is encouraged and welcomed, structures for approving events held under the auspices of VADEA and advertised using the VADEA logo need to be put in place. These structures need to be workable for regional co-ordinators.

  6. Support structures for the co-ordination and delivery of professional learning A few possibilities….. Grants and Scholarships Templates and models Resource Bank VADEA executive mentoring

Co-ordinators could liaise with the Regional Support Officer on the VADEA Executive and be elected annually through the VADEA annual general meeting or local AGMs within the regions.
