Math Education • The new NYS requirements are expected to increase: The student teaching days from 40 to 70 days. The observation hours from 100 to 200 clock hours • Dual certification in math and computer science. • Tasks: develop course outlines for the new courses, or modify existing courses Timeline: • To submit the completed proposal for major curriculum changes by September 2018, for implementation in Fall 2019
