  2. vTools and L31 Report • vTools is a great tool • Schedule your meetings, seminars and workshops. • Send the links to your email distribution list! • Get registration statistics. • Filing L31 report is much easier. • Chapter officers should have access to vTools. • http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/main • Use your IEEE user name and password • If you have no access, please let me know and I need to file an officer report. • Please file L31 reports for all your meetings (including ones you did not schedule with vTools)

Officer Election and L31 • Please let me know if you have not sent me the election results. • One can file the officer reports and check the existing officer positions in vTools. • Officers need to be an active IEEE member, and also a member of the Society (Societies involved). • Chapters without L31 reports • AP/MMT: No entry in L31 system (maybe no reports in 2010?). Currently two meetings are filed under C16 Austin • C16 SA: I saw 8 meetings are reported in the presentation, but none of them are filed in vTools. • LM Austin, PHO36, SMC, WIE: One L31 report

Other Activities • Chapter entries in L31 and vTools • Finally clean! • All Chapters with Austin and San Antonio Chapters have separate entries: C16, Com/SP, Life Member, TM and PE. • Need to check why AP/MMT is missing. • vTools officer report • Most are done. Some of the officers positions are not shown up (which were filed through old system) • Please check your member status. Several officers can not be filed. • PE31/PEL35/IE13/IA34 Austin is shown up here, but not in L31 meeting reports yet. • SamIEEE is in sync with vTools officer report. In the process of cleaning up Roster with all new officers.

  6. CEDA Chapter and DAC 2013 • Submitted the CEDA Chapter Petition Application on Dec 30, 2011. Collected over 45 signatures. • DAC, the biggest conference and trade show in design automation field will be at Austin (free Monday). You can send email to austin@DAC.com to receive updates and learn about upcoming events.
