  2. DATOS CLINICOS • Mujer de 78 años. • PAAF previa positiva carcinoma ductal. • Cuadrantectomía de mama izquierda. • Tumoración bien delimitada, redondeada, dura. • Mide 1.7 x 1.6 x 1.2 centímetros. • Límites libres.

GENERALIDADES • Tumor infrecuente (0.5-1.2 %). • Descrito por Robb (1958) y Haagensen (1971). • La mayoría carcinomas ductales infiltrantes . • Significado pronóstico de su presencia es desconocido. • Algunos autores entidad clinico-histomorfologica única. • Análisis Inmunohistoquímicos y ultraestructurales origen histiocítico estromal.

  10. TEORÍAS ETIOPATOGÉNICAS • 1.- Reacción estromal inusual al carcinoma invasivo. • 2.- Respuesta osteoclastogénica de los macrófagos a citoquinas localizadas producidas por las células tumorales en el proceso de estimulación angiogénica (sobreexpresión de VEGF).
