Service Provision • The successful provider(s) may deliver services from West Yorkshire Police’s Scientific Support facility, from their own premises/facilities or from a combination of both. • The lab space at Calder Park could be utilised as the successful provider sees fit in order to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner. • Whether services are delivered from Calder Park or alternative premises, the geographical structure of operations must ensure that the service turnaround times can be met. • Turnaround times will be detailed in the tender documentation.   4. Innovation and Technology • A long term agreement in which the successful provider(s) is expected to make best use of new technologies. • Successful tenders will demonstrate a clear research and development strategy. • The provider(s) will approach the Authorities with innovative proposals which enhance service delivery throughout the term of the agreement. • The provider(s) will show a willingness to prioritise the North East Region in the scoping and launch of new technologies.
