  5. Learning Outcomes After we have studied this lesson, we will be able to- • match pictures with statements. • say the name of different parts of computer. • write a description of computer.

  9. Individual Work: Answers the following questions in your own words: • What things are there in a CPU? • How does a keyboard look? • Why is it called a mouse? • What are the main parts of a computer? • How does a CPU look?

  10. Work in pair Discuss with your partner and then write the elaborate of the following abbreviations: i) CPU ii) RAM

  11. Work in groups Make a poster drawing the main parts of a computer. You have to present your poster to the class. Make the poster as colourful as possible.

  12. Evaluation:Match the words/ phrase in column A with the words nearest meanings in column B and rewrite them in a paragraph. Column A. Column B.

  13. Substance : In this lesson we have learnt the name of main parts of computer. These are CPU, Monitor and the Keyboard. CPU has a motherboard, the chip, the cards and the RAMs in it. Monitor working like a TV screen and the Keyboard just like a typewriter. Mouse is called the mouse because of its shape.

  14. Home work Write a short description in about 180 – 200 words on “Computer”.
