Emotive language • The first thing that Troy said was “my brother of the sword” this shows a connection between him as the leader and his followers, Troy then said “I rather fight beside you than any army of thousand” this further enhance the connection between them. He arouse his army by saying that they are the best army. He also persuade his army by using “anticipation” as one of the emotion that can build up emotion in his army, by saying that immortality is beyond that beach. • He also said that “ let no man forget how menacing we are, we are lions”. These words also build up confidence in the army.

  4. Intention & audience • Troy’s intention is to let his army know that they are the best army, and also to build up confidence that they can fight the enemy. • The audience in this clip is his army, which troy really puts his trust than any other thousands of army.

  5. context • The context from this clip, is that if you want to achieve something believe that it could happen. And be brave for who you are. Troy mentions to his army that he will not go with any other army but them, also mentioning that they are LIONS, meaning the most powerful.
