Mandate Proposal Scope Naming Conventions for: • Items (virtual systems/equipment) and Parts • Functional Positions • Assets (physical instances of system/equipment) But also for ???: • Geographical Locations • Documents and Drawings • Signals, Cables, Alarms…
Mandate Proposal Responsibility • Identifying the naming convention schemes in use in the A&T Sector • Assessing their coherency and their adherence to globally agreed conceptsin the field • Proposing improvements and verifying the feasibility of their implementation • Submitting naming convention improvements to the QAC for pre-validation • Updating/re-editing the Naming Conventions • Submitting Naming Conventions to QAC validation
