A Foundation of Health Equity • SHIP Steering Committee developed goals, strategies and objectives for 8 priority areas • Recognizing social determinants of health and health equity as a foundation for success in other priority areas, SHIP Steering Committee established a stand-alone priority area for health equity • As a stand-alone priority, SHIP partners can collectively address social, economic and environmental factors that influence health throughout life
