RPAC Legs Contest • Recruit fun-loving male members (6-10) • Sponsor should underwrite cost of event • Great way to include spouses; another source of RPAC income • Could be an annual or add on event • Provide envelope with pre-printed information • Winner is the one who raises the highest amount • Easy event to avoid the 1/3 Rule

Celebrity Dinners • Recruit local leadership as the celebrity waiters • Sponsors should underwrite the cost of event (drinks, venue, entertainment) • Great way to include spouses – another source of RPAC income • Time event with BOD meeting or membership meeting • “Cost” of dinner is RPAC contribution • Each waiter will charge individuals as they see fit

More Ideas that Might Just Catch On… • Jail and Bail • This can be a lot of fun, but is high pressure for those who aren’t warned in advance. • Best example seen is on a borrowed yacht complete with a pirate theme, participation of local restaurant on a pier and extensive galley provisions for the “jailed” members. • Great opportunity for affiliate members sponsorship!

More Ideas that Might Just Catch On… • Golf Tournaments • Not just for golfers, these events can be a social highlight. • Find a course attached to a new development, work with the club manager on details and promote this as a fundraiser. • Rely on experts for a smooth event. • Details such as “hole-side silent auctions” can add fun and profit.
