Class Overview • God’s sovereignty and man’s sin (6/3) • God’s plan of salvation (today) • God’s work of salvation (6/17) • God’s application of salvation (6/24)
Why Joyfully Reformed? • "I am so convinced of God’s sovereignty over your life and mine that I do not need to be irate that we sometimes disagree over important matters. I may be sad in one sense, because I want you to see God in a way that I am persuaded is more glorious for Him and more secure for us, but under it all I have a happy God who reigns and accomplishes all His good pleasure.
Why Joyfully Reformed? • Therefore I can engage in dialogue with a peace and joy that doesn’t lead to indifference, but a certainty that God will do good in all circumstances. Sadly, too many Calvinists are angry that people don’t always agree with them. Their demeanor betrays that their God is not as sovereign as they would claim.” Bruce Case
