  3. A Day In the life of the Phoenicians Phoenicians hunted and fished. They did not grow much food due to bad farm land. They traded by ship.

  4. THE ART OF THE PHOENICIANS Phoenician art was found in temples and tombs. The art was usually small objects. Phoenicians were famous for their crafts and artistic work in metal, ivory, glass, wood, and also stone.

  5. The clothes of the Phoenician people • The Phoenician people wore natural colors and designs. Both men and woman wore capes and skirts. Men wore cone-shaped hats, and they liked their beards and hair very long. They also wore gold and silver jewelry. Frilled skirts were also discovered. Women liked their hair to be worn with one long braid down the middle, and two small braids on the sides.

  6. RELIGION • The Phoenicians did not have temples. They also had a god that was like the king of storms and rain.

  7. Medicine • The Phoenicians used olive oil, garlic, different sorts of weeds and myrth. They also performed a kind of surgery on the skull. It was meant to relieve pressure on the brain.
