Implementation Issues(In context of 10-15 new sites each month for 18 months) • New Builds-> Right of Way issues drive time • Multiple parties involved; do not see incentives in “helping” • Think about leverage points (DPUC, Isolating worst party, etc.) • Forget everything you know about demarcations and inside wiring “policy” • Trees die, repaired sidewalks don’t match, mark-outs wrong, etc. • CWDM OADM “at the margins” some trouble • Lighting is easy & cutovers are political • Opportunity with Optical to pre-configure • Opportunity to pre-position equipment next to traditional gear prior to cutover
