  7. Quarter 2: How did Manifest Destiny shape the United States and its people?

  8. Students created Lewis and Clark Journals.

  9. Advertisement posters to attract Americans to explore the West.

  10. Students made comic strips portraying the day in the life of a family moving West.

  12. Students made a picture with quotes from the novel Bound for Oregon

  14. Holiday Unit:Students learned about the Chinese New Year and the symbol of the dragon.
