  6. Solar energy Croatia has 2000 solar hours per year.

  7. Energy of wind Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy.

  8. Geothermal energy Geothermal energy is thermal energy generated and stored in the Earth.

  9. Alternative energy in Croatia • In Croatia there is a big potential for usage of the alternative sources of energy, but it cost too much and we can't afford it. There are just couple alternative power plants. Windmills near Croatian town Zadar.
