Some Lessons Learned • Virtually all NSOs make data available on line • There are large differences in the kind of data, the amount of data, and the openness of data available on NSO websites • Among the weakest categories are poverty, gender, and environmental statistics • Many countries have not yet taken the steps necessary to make their data truly open • Even with limited resources, NSOs can support open data dissemination programs
