  2. S=Survey • Survey the material to see how long the story is and what it is about.

  3. Q=Question • Look at the questions, determine if book or brain, and write notes about the questions within the passage.

  4. R=Read • Read the material closely.

  5. R=Recite • Write answers to your notes as you go along. Make sure to highlight important information.

  6. R=Review • Review your notes. • Re-read the questions, and answer them.

  7. Wake up in the morning, Feeling A bit giddy. Got the TAKS test on my mind, I’m gonna pass, You will see. Before I start I will need A plan of attack Cause I will leave for high school I can’t be held back. To the Tune of “Tik Tok”

  8. Survey is, looking at all those rows (rows) • Questions will, be exposed (pose) • We’re writing down all our notes (notes). • No stopping, Recite can be so easy • Review, and you will guarantee • A school that is exemplary.
