  2. Common Problems 1. Model: TH37PX50 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TNPA3573 Symptom: Dead/LED off (no blinking code). Cause: Vsus voltage line shorted to ground due to shorted transistors. Remedy: Replace Q6611, Q6612, Q6613, Q6613, D6609, open R6710 & R6708. After replacement, check that Vsus line is no longer shorted to ground. R6708 & R6710: Part No.ERX2FJSR22D D6609: Part No.B0HBSN000008 VSUS Q6611-Q6613: Part No.B1JADN000002 Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-02

  3. Common Problems 2. Model: TH42PD50 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TNPA3543 (1) (2) (3) Symptom: Picture pixelized @ area horizontally across the screen. Cause: Initialization pulse T2’s level settings is misadjusted. Remedy: Adjust VR6557 to obtain specified level settings (T2=184 µsec). (Please refer to service manual for complete Initialization Pulse Adjustment procedure). Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-05

  4. Common Problems 3. Model: TH42PD50 PCB designation: C1 Board Part #: TNPA3545 Symptom: Blue vertical line @ right most edge of the screen. Cause: Missing data line. Remedy: Open R7125 R7125: Part No.ERJ6GEYJ102 Please refer to the attached Tech BulletinTT-08-03

  5. Q6511 & Q6512: Part No.B1DFGL000008 Common Problems 4. Model: TH42PD50 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TNPA3543 Symptom: After pressing power button, unit shutdown then LED blinks 7X Cause: SOS protection circuitry detects problem in scan output waveform Vf due to shorted scan output transistor Q6511. Remedy: Replace both Q6511 and Q6512 at the same time. Please refer to the attachedTech Bulletin TB-08-04

  6. Common Problems 5. Model: TH42PX50 / TH42PX500 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TNPA3557 Symptom: Distorted picture. Cause: Missing TPVSET voltage due to open R6602 & shorted C6526 Remedy: Replace R6602 & C6526. Parts list 1. R6602: Part No. ERG1FJS471D 2. C6526: Part No. ECA2AHG470 Please refer to the attached Tech Bulletin TB-08-09

  7. Q6511 & Q6512: Part No.B1DFFM000003 Common Problems 6. Model: TH42PX50 / TH42PX500 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TNPA3557 Symptom: After pressing power button, unit shutdown then LED blinks 7X Cause: SOS protection circuitry detects problem in scan output waveform Vf due to shorted scan output transistor Q6511. Remedy: Replace both Q6511 and Q6512 at the same time. Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-08

  8. Common Problems 7. Model: TH42PX50 / TH42PX500 PCB designation: P Board Part #: ETXMM563MDK Symptom: Dead/relay will not click & LED remains off (no blinking code). Cause: No output from power output control module. Remedy: Replace MC701. MC701 (Power Output Control Module) Part No.IXMM564M-D-9 Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-07

  9. Common Problems 8. Model: TH42PX50 / TH42PX500 PCB designation: P Board Part #: ETXMM563MDK Symptom: Dead/relay will not click & LED remains off (no blinking code). Cause: No standby voltage. Model: TH50PX50 / TH50PX500 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TNPA3567 Symptom: After pressing power button, unit shuts down then LED blinks 7X Cause: SOS protection circuitry detects problem in scan output waveform Vf due to shorted scan output transistor Q6604 & Q6654.   11. Common Problems 10. Model: TH50PX50 / TH50PX500 PCB designation: SS Board Part #: TNPA3568 Symptom: Upon power ON, relay clicks then LED blinks 8X. Cause: No sustain pulse output waveform due to shorted D6020 and/or D6021. Remedy: Replace both: D6020 & D6021 at the same time. Parts list D6020 & D6021: Part No.B0HBSN000008 Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-01

  12. Common Problems 11. Model: TH50PX50 / TH50PX500 PCB designation: P Board Part #: ETXMM564MEK Symptom: Dead/relay will not click & LED remains off (no blinking code). Cause: No primary supply to T501 thereby no secondary voltage outputs. Due to open in-rush current limiter K601 & open RF601. Remedy: Replace K601 & RF601. Parts list K601: Part No. DG12D1-0 RF601: Part No.HUF5K100J14 Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-11

  13. Common Problems 12. Model: TH50PX50 / TH50PX500 PCB designation: P Board Part #: ETXMM564MEK Symptom: Upon power ON, relay clicks then LED blinks 10X. Cause: No switching voltage output from F14_ON or 12V/15V_ON pins.. Remedy: Replace power module MC501. Parts list MC501: Part No.IXMM564M-C-9 Please refer to the attached Technical BulletinTT-08-10

  14. Common Problems 13. Model: TH50PX60 / TH50PX600 PCB designation: SC Board Part #: TXNSC1BHTUJ SC BOARD Symptom: Very intermittently unit shutdown and LED blinks 7X. Cause: No solder @ pin 4 of IC6773. Remedy: Resolder pin 4 of IC6773. IC6773

  15. Common Problems 14. Model: TH42PD60 PCB designation: P Board Part #: TXN/P1ZQTUS • Parts list • 1. Q412 & Q413: • Part # - B1DAGQ000013 2. Q408 & Q409: • Part # - B1DHCD000034 3. R478: • Part # - ERJ8GEYJ220 4. PR401: • Part # - K5Y502BA0001 Q412 Q413 R478 Q409 Q408 PR401 Symptom: Shuts down with power LED blinking 10x. Cause: Missing 395Vdc output due to shorted Q412 & Q413. Remedy: Replace Q412, Q413, Q408, Q409, R478 & PR401 on the P board.

Model: TH42PD60 PCB designation: P Board Part #: TXN/P1ZQTUS R410 Parts list 1.Q406: Part # - B1DEHQ000014 2.R410: Part # - D1F5100E0003 3.F401 & F402: Part # - K5D802BNA005 F401 & F402 Q406 Symptom:Dead/power LED off (no blinking code). Cause: No primary AC voltage inputs due to open fuses caused by Q406 shorting out. Remedy: Replace F401, F402, Q406 & check/replace thermal resistor (R410) on the P board.

  17. Common Problems 16. Model: TH42PX60 PCB designation: D Board Part #: TNPA3810AHS Symptom:Picture disappears after few minutes but sound is OK. Cause: Low Ldo_5V supply to IC9800 (DC to DC Converter) due to leaky D9801. Remedy: Replace D9801 on the D board. D9801 • Parts List • D9801: • Part # - B0JCDD000002

  18. Common Problems 17. Model: TH42PX60 PCB designation: P Board Part #: TXN/P1BFTUS & TXN/P1BFTU Q412 Q413 • Parts list • 1. Q412 & Q413: • Part # - B1DAGQ000070 2. Q408 & Q409: • Part # - B1DHCD000034 • 3. PR401: • Part # - K5Y502BA0001 Q408 Q409 PR401 Symptom: Shuts down with power LED 10 blinks. Cause: Missing 395Vdc output due to shorted Q412 & Q413. Remedy: Replace Q412, Q413, Q408, Q409 & PR401 on the P board.

Model: TH37/42PX60&42PX600 PCB designation: P Board Part #: TXN/P1BKTU (for TH37PX60),TXN/P1BJTUS (for TH42PX60) & TXN/P1BFTUS (for TH42PX600) R410 Parts list 1.Q406: Part # - B1DEKQ000003 2.R410: Part # - D1F5100E0003 3.F401 & F402: Part # - K5D802BNA005 Q406 F401 & F402 Symptom:Dead/power LED off (no blinking code). Cause: No primary AC voltage inputs due to open fuses caused by Q406 shorting out. Remedy: Replace F401, F402, Q406 & check/replace thermal resistor (R410) on the P board.
