Questions to Run On • What areas can I target quickly to reduce CAUTI? • How can I use the CUSP model to provide a framework for CAUTI reduction? • What are the barriers I see in my hospital that keeps us from reaching our CAUTI reduction goals? • What other resources will I use to reach our goal?
The CMS Challenge – Full Court Press on CAUTI By November significantly reduce CAUTI nationwide
How are we going to meet our goal? • All hospitals committed to reducing CAUTI in all units. • Focus efforts in ED and OR • Targeted Affinity Group Calls • Identify hospitals with highest incidence and provide one on one coaching
