  2. Hone • He has been the owner for 8 years. • Traveled to the Middle East and guided tours there more than 30 times. • Graduated from college with a degree in travel and tourism with a minor in Middle East studies. • He speaks fluent Arabic and Hebrew

  3. Tel Aviv • Jaffa was the principle port area of Palestine from biblical times to the early 1900’s and was home for many Zionist Before Tel Aviv was built. • Tel Aviv was started from a 32 acre purchase in 1909. • Tel Aviv is now the capital of Israel.

  4. Old Jeru • Jerusalem is the spiritual center fro three of the great world religions: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. • It has been a holy city for over 3,000 years.

  5. Galilee • Located in the northern Israel in the center of fertile hills and valleys also called Lake Tiberius and Sea of Kinneret. • It is 13 miles long and 7.5 miles wide.

  6. Masada • Located in southern Israel near the shores of the dead sea. • It is a natural fortress 1,300 feet high. • Its summit is a plateau 1,900 feet long. • Masada was a site of one of the most heroic and tragic events in Jewish history.

  7. Giza • Giza is the suburb of Cairo. • The pyramids were tombs for the Egyptian Pharaohs and their queens. • The Sphinx of Giza is both a guardian and a symbol of royalty.
