  12. Agriculture Rainfall is 130.5mm and 226.6 mm. Non-traditional crops like black pepper, sunflower Bee-keeping, mushroom, tomatoes, garden eggs, pepper for export on a large scale. Irrigation farming using Volta Lake

  13. Agriculture Several agro based industries in the Kingdom 2 major processing companies in the Kingdom are the Ghana Oil Palm Development Co. Obooma Palm Oil mills Two research institutions which deal with oil palm and citrus

  14. Mineral Production Bauxite deposits have been estimated at 182 million tonnes Ghana produced 283,400 carats of diamonds in 2011. Estimated 11million reserves estimated around the Birim River in the Kingdom Gold production for 2011 - 3.6 million ounces up from 3.4 million ounces in 2010

Investing in Ghana There is custom duty exemption for agricultural, and industrial plant, machinery and equipment imported for investment Agro processing – the business of converting crops, fish or livestock produced in Ghana into edible canned or other packaged product other than in their raw state – 5 years exemption
