  7. Requires an operating crew of 200 men

  8. Takes 150 pound of powder to fire

  9. Can hit a target more than a mile away.

  10. The intense heat created by the blast means the cannon can only be fired once every 3 hours.

  11. Despite soaking the barrel in warm oil to prevent cold air from causing cracks, the cannon eventually split apart killing and wounding those nearest.
