Based on Poverty Rates (Free and Reduced Lunch Rates) • 35% F&R qualifies for Targeted Assistance • 40% F&R qualifies for School-Wide Assistance How Does a School Qualify?
Schools get a per pupil allotment based on their percentage of F&R students (this amount is recalculated every year). • The district is also required to reserve funds for pre-determined allotments: • 1% parental involvement set-asides • 10%-20% support for Focus/Priority Schools
