Reading EOG: • Selections will include fiction, recipes, poetry, plays, instructions, informational texts, graphic organizers, charts, tables and schedules • It is important to apply test taking strategies on all preparation activities.

Introduction • Model test taking strategies step by step using sample selections. • R-read the title, scan and predict • U-underline the important key words in the questions • N-notice any numbered paragraphs • N-now read the selection and… • E-enclose key words and clues • R-reread the questions, mark out incorrect answers • S-select the best answer!
