Spina Bifida By: Lelani Nieves Cause is Unknown - Birth defect that involves incomplete development of its covering. • Occula: means that the opening of the spine is covered by the skin • Manitesa: means that opening pushes through the skin. • Signs and Symptoms: • Collection of fat, • skin discoloration, • small dimple of birth mark.

  3. Scoliosis By: Samantha T. Cause is Unknown, related to Birth defects. -Abnormal curving of the spine, curves too much to make a C or S shape. • Signs and symptoms: • Uneven shoulders • Waist and shoulder blade

  4. Dislocations Causes are sport injuries or hit at joint By: Laura B. -Joint injury that forces ends of the bones to move out of place. • Signs and Symptoms: • Swollen joints • Lots of pain in an area • Visibly out of place • Immovable

  5. Osteonecrosis Causes is impaired blood supply, steroids, alcohol. By: Brannen - When blood doesn’t get to the bones and eventually dies. • Signs and Symptoms: • Pain in joints • Limping
