Hush. • The buttons below are on the master so they appear on every slide • That’s fine, but the Home button is a link to the first slide in the presentation • This IS the first slide in the presentation • So how do we hide the button on this one slide?
On the Colors and Lines tab open the Fill Color dropdown list, choose Background
And you’re done! • We’ve left the rectangle’s outline visible. You’ll want to set it to None on your slides.
Background Fill Notes • As you move the Background-filled shape, it takes on the color of the background it sit atop. Very cool. • It works nicely with gradients and texture fills, ok with patterns but not with picture fills • It only works with the fill from the slide background (ie, not graphics on the background)
