Hypothalamus Thyroid Gland Thymus Gland Glands of the body It is also the hormones produced by the glands of the body The parts of this system include Hypothalamus, Pineal Gland, Thyroid Gland, Heart, Kidneys, Digestive System, Thymus Gland, and many more… Heart Kidneys Digestive System

  3. Hypothalamus A control system in the body Maintains homeostasis It is the control system for many autonomic functions Consists of two parts: right and left thalamus

  4. Pineal Gland The pineal gland, referred to as the Third Eye It is a small pine cone shaped organ inside your brain Secretes hormones

  5. Thyroid Gland Thyroid Gland The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland Sits low on the front of the neck, below your Adam’s apple, along the front of the windpipe. You cant feel it when its at its normal size It help the body to produce, store, and release thyroid hormones into blood It also regulates metabolism

  6. Heart Heart, Kidneys, and Digestive System Heart The cardiac muscle tissue of the heart produces the hormone ANP ANP also reduces blood volume and pressure. Kidneys Kidneys produce the hormone EPO It travels to the red bone marrow where it stimulates an increased production of red blood cells. Digestive system The hormones CCK, secretin, and gastrin are all produced by the organs of the gastrointestinal tract. They help regulate the secretion of pancreatic juice, bile, and gastric juice in response to the presence of food in the stomach. Kidneys Digestive System

  7. Adrenal Glands Adrenal Glands They are small glands located on top of each kidney Produces hormones Sex hormones and cortisol

  8. Thymus System Thymus System The thymus gland is an organ in the upper chest fights infections in the body makes up a major part of the immune system

Problems in the Endocrine System Hypothalamus Hypothalamus may cause anorexia and bulimia and other eating disorders Pineal Glands If your pineal glands aren't functioning properly you will experience headaches Thyroid Gland If your thyroid glands aren't functioning properly it can affect every aspect of your health mostly your weight and energy level Adrenal Glands Genetic mutations, Infections, problems in other glands

Heart May get chest pain and painful feeling in your chest if you are having problems with your heart Kidneys Kidney disease often has no symptoms until it is very far along Digestive System Common digestive problems include heartburn Thymus System Tumors can develop in the thymus called the thymoma

  11. How to Take Care of the Endocrine System One can take care of the Endocrine System by avoiding steroids, taking enough rest and eating a balanced diet.. you can also take care of your endocrine system by rest and eating a balanced diet..

  12. How to Take Care of the Endocrine System Cont. One can also engage in a regular exercise program and by avoiding stress. This is important because this system regulates hormones within the body.
