Charter of the Columbus Consolidated Government: • Article III – Legislative Branch - Chapter 1, Sec. 3-103 (4) States: • The rules of the Council shall provide for regular meetings which shall be held at least once in every week, and shall fix the date and place of all regular meetings. • In no event shall fewer than two (2) regular meetings be held in any month. • Special meetings of the Council may be called by the Mayor or by any six (6) members of the total membership of the Council.

  17. Purchasing Authority Approval • Increase spending authority of City Manager: • Currently up to $9,999 • RECOMMENDATION: up to $ 25,000
