Definición • Con el término “guerra fría” se quiere expresar una situación de tensión permanente entre las dos superpotencias vencedoras de la segunda guerra mundial –la URSS y Estados Unidos- y entre los bloques que dirigían. • El fin de la guerra fría podría fecharse en 1991 cuando la URSS dejó de existir. • Se reconoce a Reagan y Gorbachov el mérito de haber inaugurado el principio del final.
