FACTS.org Account Creation Changes • FACTS will create accounts for all 7-9th grade students • No need to enter FSIN • Students are pre-matched to their DOE record • Login IDs and Passwords available to you in Student Activity System • You provide to students, they are prompted to change Password • If they create an account without knowing the Login ID/Password, they will need FSIN- once they are matched the Login ID/Password will be provided • 10th-12th grade students will be provided with an automatically generated Login ID as they build their profile and they will create their own Password • All students will be asked to create security questions to help locate account if they forget Password
9th Grade Students • Most will arrive in high school with an ePEP • Almost 90% of 8th grade students met requirement, others have ePEP that is not matched to DOE record • If not, high school must help them create one • Home education or private school students, out of state transfers, etc. • Wait until after October 12, when new roster will appear in Student Activity System • Must review ePEP at least once in 9th grade
10th-12th Grade Students • Wealth of college and career information • High School Evaluations • Graduation Requirements • Bright Futures Eligibility • all 3 awards • weighted GPA • SUS Requirements • Finding a College • Applying for College • Paying for College

School Roster • Access Student ePEPS and High School Evaluations • District and high school, student ID, grade level, Login ID and Password, the dates the ePEP was created, last viewed and last updated • Number of credits planned, MAI credits planned, diploma type, graduation plan, career cluster, current MAI, and the date the transcript was last updated • The report can be sorted in a number of ways and can also be downloaded to Excel • Users are able to "lock" ePEPs • Student able to view ePEP/High School Evaluations, cannot make changes. • Students whose records are shaded have incorrectly entered their FSIN and they will be unable to access their transcript information until they correct it.
NEW! Student Account Not Matching Roster • List of students who have created a FACTS Login ID but are not on the roster as having done so because the demographic information entered does not match the roster. • Students who have mis-keyed one of the following: first name, last name, date of birth, or school will appear on this list. • The roster demographic information is listed beside the information provided by the student and the incorrect item is highlighted. • Users may review the list and click the appropriate “update” box to authorize FACTS to automatically correct the selected students account.
Remove Additional Accounts • Displays information about students who have created more than one FACTS Login ID • Users can evaluate the account information and remove unnecessary accounts form the school roster • One account must remain active
School Summary Report • Number and percent of unduplicated student ePEPs created by grade level for the school selected • Percentage of ePEPs with at least 24 credits planned • Information on graduation plan, career cluster, and Major Area of Interest summary information
District Summary Report • Summarizes the number and percentage of unduplicated student ePEPs created by school and for the entire district • Assessable only to users with an “administrative” or “counselor” role
