ADDIE Model History • First created for use in US Army • 1975 Florida State University • 1980’s the model was adaptable to be used in multiple organization environments • 1995 the acronym ADDIE first used • Late 1990’s and into the new millennium the ADDIE model has been use in conjunction with other learning models. Evaluation • Evaluate notes from the class • Determine what worked • Evaluate how we can make good better • Determine what did not work • Determine if changes could be made to make it work the next time • Determine if the element should be scratched completely • Start the process over (Learning Theories Knowledgebase ,2011)
