  4. Step by Step Process • ADDIE is a process that helps designers plan and createtraining materials that are structured to be most effective and efficient for the targeted audience. • Five step processAnalyzeDesignDevelopImplementEvaluate

  5. Analyze • First separate and determine the components of the topic/process. Ask Questions like.Who is the audience?What is needed to learn?Create map of preliminary research.What type of delivery options? (video, Web, handouts)What constraints exists?What are the timeline for completion?

  6. Design • Phase of systematic method of research, planning, developing, evaluating and managing the instructional process. Tasks to accomplish:Documentation of strategy (visual, technical)Collect needed materialsCreate storyboardsCreate prototypeDesign user interface

  7. Development • This phase is where material is collected, prepared, or created.List activities that help students learn the task.Review existing material. Develop suitable instructional materialGo over and recheck material to ensureinstructions meet goals and objectives

  8. Implement • In this phase the creators produce the product and work with target audience. Product is delivered and continued to be analyzed, redesigned, and enhanced.Preparing the trainers covering all aspects of the instructional material to produce final prototype.Train the users on the tools, checking all aspects of the product.Ensure that all procedural manuals, videos, website and software in place and functional

Evaluation • This phase should be on going procedure from the beginning of the previous phase (implement). • Trainers and users have been working on using the product. • Determine if the product has any problems or enhancement that can be made. • Review/revise any part of the product to ensure users that all goals and objectives were accomplished.

  10. ADDIE • The different phases provide checkpoints to allow the designers, trainer and users to evaluate the product. • Final outcomes may not be produce till enough time and usage has been made with product. • The ADDIE phase system on the product provides improvement for the designer.
