What is Scientology? • Scientology is a religion which recognizes that man is basically good and offers tools anyone can use to become happier and more able as a person and to improve conditions in life for himself and others and to gain a profound understanding to the Supreme Being and his relationship to the Divine. • Scientology is something one does, not merely something on believes (in). • www.scientology.org

During 2005 new Scientology groups, missions and churches opened at a rate of 3 per day. The Church has expanded more in the last five years than the preceding fifty.   11. Scientology Cross • The Scientology cross is an eight-pointed cross which represent the eight parts or dynamics of life. It symbolizes the ability to live happily across all eight dynamics. • www.scientology.org

  12. Scientology Symbol • The “S” stands for Scientology. • The lower triangle is called the ARC triangle (pronounced by letters) A for affinity, R for reality, C for communication. ARC is a fundamental principle of the Scientology religion.The upper triangle is the KRC which is K for knowledge, R for responsibility and C for control. www.scientology.org
