Conclusions • Single-Incision laparoscopic colectomy is both safe and viable for benign and malignant diseases • SILC can be performed with standard laparoscopic instruments • SILC demands high laparoscopic skills and should be adopted once laparoscopic learning curve has been overcome • The main limitations of single-incision laparoscopic surgery are limited triangulation, maneuverability, and non-ergonomic characteristics
