  3. Cost • Estimate $292,000 with 20% cont. for a total of $350,000 • Actual $327,116

Comments • PHENIX pipe came in one week ago • They are confident it will be installed • There was trouble with fabrication of PHENIX pipe and this is causing a few weeks delay in our customer prints to address issues • PHENIX pipe length out of tolerance and roundness was just acceptable. • The pipe was “dirty” inside • Although nearly on schedule there is still lots of opportunities to be late for our pipe

  5. Remaining items • Outside sections--design and order • Bellows and mounts • Heating blankets • Blanket insertion device

  6. HFT Safety • Have a pHAD (preliminary Hazard Analysis Document) • pHAD and Design Questionnaire sent to safety in C-AD on Sept. 30, 2009 • Update to a HAD for CD-2 • Send an updated version of pHAD (HAD) to safety people in about 2 months

  7. Safety • Individual items can be addressed as needed • Fire test of carbon fiber is pending (FGT) • Paperwork found for lifting fixture (550 #) • Others as they come up
